We believe that Strawberries are truly the taste of British summer! With bright red fruits, sweet smell and even sweeter taste they are as distinctive on the eye as they are in the mouth.
Strawberries are extremely easy to grow and once ripe are ideal eaten fresh, in baking or as a preserve.
Plant in a sheltered spot in fertile, well drained soil in full sun, in containers or borders. The planting area should be prepared beforehand, working in any necessary compost or fertiliser. Water well before planting
How to grow
Water well until established and during dry weather, avoiding wetting the crowns of the plants. Feed every two weeks with a liquid fertiliser during the growing season.
Harvest in the summer.
