Amelanchier lamarckii is a small tree or large shrub with a bushy, spreading habit. Leaves are oval shaped, coppery red and silky when young. Profusion of small white flowers in spring scatter along the branches as the young leaves unfold. Edible fruits are black followed by beautiful orange-red autumn colours. Similar if indistinguishable from Amelanchier Canadensis.
