Levington® Peat Free Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost has a special combination of nutrients and water retaining agents that enable the fast rooting of roses, trees and shrubs.

How to use

PLANTING OUT: Water the plant thoroughly. Dig a hole twice as big as the root ball. Part fill the hole with a mix of 50% soil and 50% Levington® Peat Free Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost. Ensure the plant is at the same level as in the pot. To provide stability for taller plants a stake may be hammered into the ground and the plant loosely tied to it. Fill in firmly and water.

WATERING: For best results ensure that the soil around the plant does not dry out in the first seasons. To help conserve water around precious plants, apply a mulch, such as Levington® Composted Bark. This will also suppress weeds.

FEEDING: Levington® Peat Free Rose, Tree and Shrub compost contains season long feed for the first season, no feeding is required. We recommend that plants are fed with Miracle-Gro® Rose and Shrub Plant Food, so that they continue to grow with abundance in the following seasons.

Where to use

Rose, tree and shrub compost is ideal for Shrubs, Trees, Roses, Hedging Fruit Bushes, including ericaceous plants (acid loving, lime hating plants).

Planting bare root outdoor roses, trees, shrubs, moving or planting established and container plants.

Small items and Lemax Christmas Village
Lemax and selected smaller items are available for national delivery. This will be charged at £5.99 per order and uses Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service. Orders made after 12pm on Friday, will be shipped the following Monday.

Keter Garden Buildings & Somerset Grill Company Grills

UK Mainland Delivery available on Keter Garden Buildings (excluding the Henley 6x4) and Somerset Grill Company Grills. All deliveries of these items will be handled by the supplier, they will be in contact with you after you place your order to arrange a date. Deliveries will be Kerbside only, due to the weight of the items.

Bespoke National Delivery Prices- We do not currently offer National Delivery as standard. However, for large items such as statues, Garden Furniture and some smaller items such as plants and Garden Machinery, a national delivery charge can be offered by request. Delivery time
We aim to deliver your order as soon as we can and where possible this will be within 7 days, but this is not guaranteed. We will not notify you of delivery time as we are getting orders out as fast as we can. If you do need a confirmation of delivery date then please specify in the notes field when checking out. At this time we will only be delivering Tuesday-Saturday but this will be subject to review.

Out of stocks
Products shown as available on our website should always be in stock with us but occasionally something may go out of stock due to multiple simultaneous orders. In this case a suitable substitute product may be provided. In any case where a suitable substitute product is unavailable a member of our sales team will contact you to discuss options.

Refunds and returns
