Containing a balanced combination of nutirents that will feed your plants for up to 6 weeks, Levington Multi Purpose with added John Innes is a popular choice amongst keen gardeners! With it’s unique formulation with grit and phosphate coming together to create the perfect combination for strong and healthy roots.

How to use

For Containers: Ensure that the container has sufficient drainage holes. Then fill with Levington Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes. Add your chosen flowers and firm lightly, then water thoroughly.

For Hanging Baskets: Line the basket if necessary and part fill it with Levington Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes. Insert plants through sides of the basket where possible to ensure a ball of colour. Fill the basket with compost and arrange plants on the top with trailing ones around the sides. After everything is planted, firm lightly and water thoroughly.

For Seedlings: Fill the seed tray with Levington Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes and level off. Firm lightly and water. Sow seeds following the pack instructions. Cover the seed tray making sure the tray is out of direct sunlight.

For Cuttings: Fill the pot with the Levington Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes, take the cutting (according to the type of plant), water, cover and keep warm.

For beds and borders: Water the plant thoroughly. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Part fill the hole with a mixture of 50% soil and 50% Levington Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes. Ensure the plant is at the same level as in the original pot. Fill in firmly, then water. For best results we recommend also using Levington Organic Blend Soil Conditioner.

Perfect for use in pots and containers, baskets, beds and borders.

Coverage

Fills 50 small pots 12cm (5″).
Fills 10 medium pots 22cm (9″).
Fills 5 large pots 25cm (10″).
Fills 7 hanging baskets 30cm (12″).

Cautions

Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust.
Always wear gloves when gardening. Wash hands after use.
Store in a cool place, away from sun.
Open bag carefully and reseal after use.

Small items
Selected smaller items are available for national delivery. This will be charged at £5.99 per order and uses Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service. Orders made after 12pm on Friday, will be shipped the following Monday.

Delivery time
We aim to deliver your order as soon as we can and where possible this will be within 7 days, but this is not guaranteed. We will not notify you of delivery time as we are getting orders out as fast as we can. If you do need a confirmation of delivery date then please specify in the notes field when checking out. At this time we will only be delivering Tuesday-Saturday but this will be subject to review.

Out of stocks
Products shown as available on our website should always be in stock with us but occasionally something may go out of stock due to multiple simultaneous orders. In this case a suitable substitute product may be provided. In any case where a suitable substitute product is unavailable a member of our sales team will contact you to discuss options.
