These broadleaf evergreen shrubs are native to Europe, Asia and Africa. Popular for their scented flowers, these shrubs are compact and slow growing. Great for smaller gardens, in mixed borders. Plant on the edge of a mixed border or next to a path where its intoxicating fragrance can be appreciated by all who walk by.

Plant in spring when the soil is warm. Choose a location with well-drained soil that’s sunny or partial shade.

Most Daphnes are deep rooted, so are not suitable for planting in containers. They prefer not to be moved once settled into the ground.
