“I booked the new function room at Monkton Elm to host a reception with friends and family after our son’s christening. The buffet spread was absolutely delicious, with sandwiches, quiche, homemade sausage rolls, a selection of cakes, scones with cream and jam and tea and coffee. All of the feedback from our guests was hugely positive, the use of the function room which goes out on to the patio and play area, was just perfect for our party. The staff were really attentive, dealing with any small issues and checking in with me regularly. They also provided us with boxes to take away and leftover food so nothing went to waste. I would highly recommend using their services for a small function, max capacity was 40 people which was perfect for us. Thanks to the team for making it a perfect Sunday afternoon!”

“Outstanding garden centre! The variety and quality is amazing. Recently visited with family on a Sunday afternoon maybe wanting to stop for a small bite to eat when we noticed they were serving a full roast! Looking at the other plates of roasts coming out the kitchen they looked incredible We couldn’t resist so all opted for the roast apart from my partner who is coeliac ( we will have to pre order in advance for her next time) we were all very impressed the meat was wonderfully tender, roast potatoes were beautiful and a great variety of vegetables cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back! Not to mention all waiting staff were very attentive and diligent with our coeliac guest.”
