A naturally dwarf tree with an upright habit, for even the smallest garden. Dark purple-green leaves and stunning pink and white flowers in April. Persistent large, round, maroon fruit perfect for the best crab apple jelly. Crab Apples are self-fertile, and very useful as pollinators for a variety of fruit trees. Full sun or part shade lover, best grown in fertile, moist, deep, loamy soils. Requires minimal pruning in late winter or spring to remove damaged, diseased or misplaced growth.
