Dishwash- 

Full time, 37.5 hours – Weekdays & Weekends 

The Role

As a dishwash, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in our Elm Tree Restaurant; maintaining a clean and tidy environment at all times and supporting the Front of House team to ensure all crockery and cutlery is cleaned to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean all utensils, crockery, and cutlery efficiently and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Always maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Put cutlery/utensils and non-food stock away once cleaned
  • Remove waste from the kitchen

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well with a team
  • Experience working in hospitality (desirable not essential)

 

Restaurant Assistant –

Full Time, 37.5 hours and Part Time (hours to be discussed at application stage) – Weekdays and Weekends

The Role

This role is based in our Elm Tree Restaurant and reports to the Restaurant Manager. As a Restaurant Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through providing a friendly and approachable service, offering appropriate product knowledge and upselling to meet sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Answer menu related questions and take customer orders when required
  • Communicate to the kitchen team any specific dietary needs
  • Process customer payments at the till point
  • Prepare drinks including teas, coffees and soft drinks
  • Plate cake/pastries/sandwiches as required and run food from the kitchen when meals are prepared
  • Ensure tables are cleared efficiently and cleaned thoroughly

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well with a team
  • Experience working in hospitality or retail

 

 

Retail Assistant-

Fixed Term Contract until January 2023 – Full Time, 37.5 hours with every other weekend off.

The Role

This role is crucial in supporting our retail staff with the set-up, take down and ongoing maintenance of Christmas stock. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the team in ensuring our Christmas area is maintained at all times as well as day to day retail assistant duties in line with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Support management with Christmas – stock unpacking, stock replenishment and stock movement
  • Offer product knowledge to customers and take payments at the till when required
  • Work with the team to take down our Christmas stock in January to prepare the store for post-Christmas trade

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well with a team
  • Experience working in hospitality or retail
